Theresa Loe lives with her husband and two young sons in Southern California. As an author, video host, and lifestyle expert, Theresa has been working in the culinary and horticultural field for over 15 years, focusing on the fragrances and flavors of the garden. Through her books, videos, freelance writing, lectures and television appearances, she  has become  known for her innovative ways of utilizing the garden's bounty. Theresa teaches and inspires people to bring a bit of the garden indoors through food and decorations.

Theresa's calendar, The Herbal Calendar (Tidemark Press), features beautiful, watercolor artwork of herbs and flowers, as well as Theresa's seasonal recipes, crafts and garden projects. Theresa's book, The Herbal Home Companion  (Kensington Press), focuses on herbal gardening, lore, recipes, homemade cosmetics and crafts. Her  "how-to" videos, Entertaining From The Garden and Christmas Entertaining feature practical ideas for using fresh herbs and edible flowers in home entertaining. Both videos come with a recipe/instruction booklet and have been featured on the Direct TV Network.

An avid gardener and cook, Theresa has made appearances on The Discovery Channel, DirectTV, DIY, and The Home & Garden TV Network as well as local Cable stations. She has written for The Herb Companion Magazine, Natural Home and the International Herb Association Trade Newsletter.  Her work has also been featured in Sunset Magazine and in various books such as, Potpourri & Fragrant Crafts (Readers Digest), Flowers are Forever (Fireside/Simon & Schuster) and Herbal Treasures (Storey Communications).

Theresa holds a B.S. degree in Engineering, but her passions are gardening and herbs. She studied professional cooking and horticulture at UCLA and is a certified Master Food Preserver through the University of Davis, CA. For years, Theresa published an internationally read herbal cooking/gardening newsletter and was the weekly lifestyle/gardening correspondent on the Savvy Shopper show at KIEV Talk Radio in Glendale, CA. Theresa teaches and lectures throughout the country on herbal gardening, cooking, home entertaining, garden weddings and the historical uses of herbs. She is a member of Garden Writers Association of America and Herb Society of America.
